Collection 2000, collection

As you can see, i kind of adore this brand haha! They recently changed their name to 'Collection' but i will keep saying 'Collection 2000' to avoid confusion. Most of the products i have still say 'Collection 2000' soooo ya know haha. Anyhoo i have a wide range of different products from this brand and i've tried all sorts over the time. They retail from about £1.99 to no more than £10.00 infact i don't even think any product goes that high, but i'll play it safe at stick with a tenner. They have a lovely set of products which vary from lipsticks, eyeshadows to foundations, they even recently brought out some fake eyelashes which i'm keen to try out. So as my Collection 2000 collection grows i thought i'd share with you the things i have upto yet. Read below to find out what i like and what i don't like so much, and if they have anything for you :)

Eyeshadow-

From left to right- Spellbound, heavenly, fairy dust, magical, tinkerbell, sugarplum, jaffa, (i've forgotten this one), illusion and inky.
These pigments are great! I first bought one probably about 5 years ago, and i've loved them ever since. I don't have them all & i'm not actually sure how many others there are. There are only a couple what i wear and the others are for fancy dress or make-up artistry :) They are soft, VERY pigmented, shimmery although one or two are matte, the blue and pink i think, have great stain power and are super cheap round about £1.99. I just looked on the website and they aren't on there but they are still in the shops, so i'm guessing they may becoming discontinued :( but we'll see. Poundland sell them so they will have tons in there if they do discontinue them. A great tip on using these aswel is to use them wet! Or use a some fix fluid i.e Mac. It makes the colour alot stronger. But they work really well with a base underneath, they're easier to blend this way aswel. I really reccomend these for fancy dress aswel, so hurry up and get them before they go!

Nail Varnishes-

From left to right (or up to down haha)- Hip Hop, Dynasty, Sherbert Lemons, Spangles and i don't actually know the name of the old one, it's sort of rubbed off, and it's probablt discontinued unless they kept it but in the newer packaging.

I do appologise, but i have no idea why the picture is on the side haha, its right way round until i upload it, any ideas anyone?
The nail varnishes are really nice, they're vibrant pigmented colours that look really shiny and gel like. You only really need one coat if i'm honest, however they don't last very long. They chip after a short period of time, but heyyy they're only cheap and they are gorgoeus colours. The last one is really old telling by the old style packaging and i got given it by my next door neighbour in a huge bundle of nail varnishes she gave me haha. I haven't tried it so im unsure to what it's like! I would reccomend these becausae they have some really nice vibrant colours to try out.
Blush-

This is the only blusher i have from this brand. I've had another one what was very similar but was aaaaages ago. Again the name has rubbed off this and in actual fact i forgot i had it. It was stashed away in my drawer. i remember wearing it odd times with my old maybelline foundation. It's showing up alot darker on camera, but its a nice pinky colour. It's kind of old now so it's gone kinda chalky, i may try it out again at some point.

Mascara-

I have had the huge thickening mascara and i wasn't a big fan, however this one is awesomeee! I wear it like everyday, its got a perfect sized wand and the formula is just great. It seperates my lashes and doesn't make them go clumpy at all! It's just great for everyday wear and its under £5's wooooo! A deffo must buy :)

Natural Collection, collection

Soooo Natural Collection has been a favourite low make-up brand in a loooong time! I only started using them a few years back, and i really fell in love. Usually with cheaper brands you pay for a low price for a low quality item, but Natural Collection somehow have a higher standard (in my oppinion) although saying that, not alot of their products are A*. The biggest downfall of this brand is the packaging. It looks simple and basic which isn't really the problem, it's how flimsy it is. The lipsticks break very easily and fall out of the tube, every blusher & compact powder i've had crumbles and the eyeshadows or anything in a pan with fall out of the container. I know they're cheap products but if they make the packaging more stable i think more people would buy them, because having a nasty lipstick stuck to the lid and eyeshadows falling out in your bag is deffinitley not the way forwad haha. Read below to see swatches and my thoughts on my Natural Collection, collection :)

Lipsticks-

There are two lipstick types, 'Moistiure shine' and 'sheer natural'. Here i have 'Apple Blossom' 'Lotus' 'Rose Petal' and 'Candy Mist' My favourite is 'Apple Blossom' it's a creamy nude colour that lasts quite a long time. 'Lotus' and 'Rose Petal' are really similar, they are sheer but quite pigmented. 'Apple Blossom' is my least favourite, its too sheer with hardley any colour and loads of shine. It's meant to be a light pinky colour but the pink doesn't show up unless you swipe your lips loads of times. (I do appologise there is no swatches, they didn't look good on camera, so i'll take more pictures of them soon.)

Lipgloss-

Natural Collection Lipgloss - Fondant

Natural Collection ligloss - Fondant (swatch)

Natural Collection lipgloss

I have only ever purchased these two lipglosses from the range. The first picture is 'Fondant' a peachy nude colour. I absolutley LOVE this lipgloss. I wear it practically everyday. Its subtle, soft, creamy, feels soft on the lips, smells like vanilla and lasts a good amount of time. The only downfall of theis lipgloss is that it feels abit gritty! Now i'm not sure what it is, because i've never tried any other lipgloss from the range so i don't know if it's just this one or any others? Let me know if you have felt it aswel. The last is a squeezy tube lipgloss (unsure of the name, but it hase 'melon' in it haha) this just comes out of the tube clearm with a tiny hint of a peachy colour. Its really glossy and not sticky so i really like this gloss! It's great for a natural glossy lip and to just throw in your bag on the go.

Single Eyeshadows-

From left to right- Butterscotch, Milk Chocolate, Crushed Walnut, Asteroid and Moonshine. I have barley somewhere but couldn't find it (it's a golden shimmery colour) all of these colours are really quite nice. They're highly pigmented apart from Butterscotch because it's a pale colour and blend really well apart from Moonshine as it crumbles like mad. The last 3 go really well together by the way! I am particulaly pleased with these as they only cost around £1.99. You can depot them too like mac eyeshadows, but they usually fall out of the container anyway haha. So i would say i like them all apart from Moonshine because of its habit to crumnle and applies really patchy to the lid.

Eyeshadow Duos

These are a really nice idea if you're just starting out with make-up. They put two similar colours together ot two colours that go well together in one eyeshadow pot. I really like these although some of the colours you can buy seperatley.

Moca/Latte-

This duo looks like it's going to be a great combo, with the light cream colour as an all over the eye colour and the deep brown for the base! I tried this out on my eye and the light colour 'Moca' was awful! It's so chalky and dry. As you can see i tried scratching a layer of the shadow off to see if it was more powdery underneath and it just wasn't haha, how attractive! So the 'Mocca' is pretty much useless unless you scrub your eyeshadow brush a thousand times and make youre eye lid sore! Hence why it didn't show up on the swatch picture. On the other hand, the 'Latte' shadow is a dream! Its highly pigmented, looks great in the crease (for my pale skin tone) and it blends really really well too! You can buy the dark brown colour seperatley im sure which is 'Crushed Walnut' if it's not the same colour it's very similar.

Frost shimmer/Aqua shimmer

This is a real shimmery duo! I'm not a huge fan of this one only because these arent really my colours, however they are nicely pigmented and have a nice shimmer to them! On the swatch you can see lots of shimmer thats from the cheap ass base i used underneath to make the colours pop so dont worry, there isn't that much shimmer in there :) I tried these on my eyes aswel, they blend well together and do look nice, however it's not very me.

Apple/Frost

This duo is my favourite! I love these colours in the summer, as they're really light and summery. The 'Frost' colour looks really nice on its own which is sometimes what i just wear, its powdery and soft. The 'Apple' colour is kinda of shimmery and also looks good alone! They stain power of these are really good, they last me all day but as they wear off they leave the shimmer and a faded colour. I reccomend this duo its cute and looks pretty on :)

Vanilla/Plumb

Another great duo! Pigmented colours, last a good amount of time. Combine really well together. I wear the 'Vanilla' alone sometimes as it's a really gorgeous vanilla colour with hints of gold running through. I love how strong the plumb colour is aswel, it would look gorgeous on someone with brown eyes!

Starlight/Midnight

As you can see, this one has had a bit of an accident haha! It just sorta fell out and crumbled. Anyhoo this is another favourite! It's the perfect smokey eye duo! The silver colour is shimmery but subtle and the black is incredible! It blends like a dream for the price. Its so pigmented and black! It's hard to find a pigmented black when you're on a budget, but this one really is a great find! Together or alone these go really well on any skin tone. I reccomend this if you're on a budget or not :)

Compact Powder-

I didn't swatch this because it was a huge mess haha as it crumbles into oblivion! So anyway the compact powder isn't anything i'd rave about, however it's ok. If you're looking for a cheap compact powder i would highly reccomend the 'Collection 2000' compact powders. They are really soft and cover quite well.

Blush-

I have the blush colour in 'Pink Cloud' one of my absolute favourites! Its a matte light pink colour which is perfect for lighter skintones (like myself) and its soft. It doesn't last a heck of a long time and when it wears off it goes a sort of bronzer colour, it'd weird, but it's still lovely for the price (about £1.98) So get looking :)
